NHIVNA Education

One of the foremost aims of NHIVNA is to continue to provide its members, as well as other healthcare professionals and affiliated partners working in HIV, with an academic and educational forum for the dissemination of original nursing research in the field of HIV/AIDS.

In addition, NHIVNA aims to address the communication and support needs of these nurses to assist in the promotion of the best practice in the care of people with HIV. In this respect, the Charity’s objectives are to advance education amongst members of the nursing profession about good nursing practices and to promote improved standards of nursing care of patients with HIV. In addition NHIVNA supports research into the promotion of HIV nursing skills and aims to publish the results of such research for the benefit of the public.

Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) Integrated Sexual Health and HIV Specialist Training Curriculum 2019

The Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) curriculum provides a blueprint for benchmarking standards for practitioners working in integrated sexual health and HIV services.
